Gordon Dunn, MA, CA
President & CEO
Gordon Dunn is the President & CEO of Phoenix Finance Corporation and is primarily involved in the development and funding of corporate debt syndications on behalf of our client companies. Through Gordon’s 22 year career, he has accumulated ‘hands-on’ experience and transactional expertise in a wide range of investment management, financial services and risk management roles.
Gordon has previously held positions with the Investment Management Corporation of Ontario, Altus Group, Office of the Superintendent of Financial Institutions, Ernst & Young Consulting, and Deloitte Consulting. Gordon received his MA from Edinburgh University and his CA from the Institute of Chartered Accountants.
Ginna Castro B. Sc.
Senior Analyst
Ginna Castro is the Senior Analyst with Phoenix Corporate Finance and oversees the multi-faceted due diligence and underwriting activities of our four primary financing teams and our agency office operations across Canada. Ginna has previously held senior executive positions with institutional and other financial intermediaries providing industrial and real estate project financing. Ginna’s extensive experience with project financing provides the Phoenix Underwriting Team with intimate market information access and market intelligence to private/public partnerships and joint ventures for infrastructure financing. Previous project financing experience includes alternative energy, renewable fuels, alternative power and process technologies. Ginna started her career with Citibank and was primarily involved in large commercial and industrial projects and infrastructure financing transactions.
Ginna attended Pontificia Universidad Javeriana in Colombia and is fluent in Spanish and English.
Ginna is located at our Advisory Services Group Office.
